Ambulance Services

Pakistan, with a population exceeding 220 million, faces a high risk of accidents due to its dense population and limited infrastructure. Between 2009 and 2020, over 100,000 roadside accidents were reported, with a mortality rate of 2.43%. The country also has a significant number of patients requiring urgent medical care: 17 million individuals suffer from kidney-related conditions, one in four adults has a heart ailment, and over 150,000 cancer patients rely on medical support for survival.

With the increasing demand for emergency services, volunteers play a critical role in responding to urgent medical needs. Human Shelter Foundation has established a comprehensive ambulance service to address these challenges and provide timely medical assistance to citizens across Karachi and beyond.
